Founder's Story
Kevin W. Leary’s journey began in Boston. After graduating from Boston College, and serving as an Officer in the U.S. Navy, Kevin went on to have a successful investment banking career at Merrill Lynch at One Financial Center in Boston. Despite the building’s impressive amenities and services, the garage experience was subpar—service, cleanliness, and guest care were clearly not priorities. Frustrated by this disconnect, Kevin left his job to create a parking and support service company that would offer clients a team and service level they could be proud of. Thus, VPNE was born in 1990. Today, VPNE proudly operates the garage at One Financial Center, along with 350 other locations nationwide, including healthcare systems, hotels, commercial office buildings, parking facilities, and shuttle programs.

We believe in investing in the people who make us great: Our Team. That's why we created VPNE Cares, an initiative dedicated to helping our teammates and their families succeed, grow, and flourish. Through learning and development, recognition, and financial assistance, we're turning former barriers into new opportunities.
